In our Kitchens, we create simple Asian-inspired comfort food that will make you smile. Fresh ingredients are prepared each day and cooked day-of. Our dishes are made with organic chicken, pork, and tofu and we offer gluten-free options. Each dish is packed with flavor and amazing fragrance, served in box so you can take it on the go! In an effort to be as eco-friendly as possible, we use green to-go boxes to help minimize our environmental impact.
ABOUT THE Cook
Rice Box Kitchen and Noodle Box Kitchen is the creation of the self-taught cook, Perapol, founder of Gossip Kitchen in San Francisco.
Hello! I’m Perapol, the foodie and ‘head-gossip’ behind Gossip Kitchen in San Francisco. Rice Box Kitchen was born from my desire to bring a little SF to Reno.
Though my background is in interior design, cooking has always been a passion of mine. Immigrating from Thailand to Wyoming, I have fond memories of a childhood spent in the kitchen helping my mother prepare food. It was our bonding time, and from her I learned how to make everything from curry to tamales.
There are so many amazing restaurants where one can get any kind of food, but the nostalgia of home-cooked meals are hard to find at a restaurant. Being on my own I have had to learn to make home-cooked Thai meals for myself and I would often have Sunday night dinners with friends. Now I want to bring that experience for others to enjoy.
